The changes in the global ecology can be reversed by creating an increased level of awareness about the consequences of our actions on the one hand, and to acquire knowledge and skills to manage our affairs to create a balance between human needs and ecological safety.

Thus it becomes necessary to develop a new breed of professionals who can transform the world by ensuring enhanced productivity on the one hand and influencing the socio political and economic structures and decision-making mechanisms on the other in order to respond to the emerging global sustainability needs.

IBRAD, established in 1985, a non-profit professional institute is proud to have ISO 9001:2000 certificate and have six regional centers across the country to pursue action research, training and intervention in the field of sustainable development.
