At IBRAD, a unique trilogy of students, faculty and learning resources will produce some of the best minds in the country. In addition, an environment conducive to new ideas and sharing of knowledge helps in the development of a spirit of co-operation among students.
The essential catalyst in this process of transformation is our highly accomplished and erudite faculty. Our faculty members since 1985 are involved in training, teaching, consultancy, as well as leading-edge research in key areas of development. Our faculties are not only teachers, they are the mentors and in true sense they are the facilitators for the trainee students. As an added advantage, the learning provided at IBRAD is not only restricted to the class-room. Live projects, work shops and many field works are there to get an insight into the realities of real-world of development which sustains.
Teaching methods at the IBRAD include lectures, case studies, seminars, group discussions, management games, role plays, simulation exercises, structured and unstructured group work, as well as field visits. The emphasis is on involving the students in learning and helping them to relate concepts and theories to implement for sustainable development.
In a nutshell, IBRAD equips students with the skills, knowledge, and analytical mind-set required to identify and solve problems, effective communication skills to communicate these solutions, and sufficient practical exposure to create action plans and implement these solutions for sustainable development.
